Chris Jones has been involved in music and performing his whole life. While attending Houston Baptist University he was the student conductor for the university choirs where he discovered the joy he gets when helping people create beautiful music with the talents God has given them. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Music and Christianity, he continued in music ministry as a worship pastor. His excitement for theater and performing in stage productions was recently reignited and since then he has performed in a number of community theater productions. He is excited for the opportunity to continue teaching with CYT and share his passion for music with another generation of performers. He loves his family and the excitement that comes with his four children, and he is grateful to God for life’s many blessings.
